Chef Sandra decided on a variety of Middle Eastern Mediterranean dishes to stay within the theme of the belly dance tradition. This menu is very well thought out and you will be delighted by the aromas and flavors.
4-Course Dinner (originally 3-course but she just couldn't resist adding a 4th dish!)
1st Course:
WARAK ENAB: STUFFED GRAPE LEAVES (Egypt)
Not your typical dolmathes, this dish is served warm. Stuffed grape leaves with rice, herbs and ground beef (GF)
2nd Course
IMAM BAYILDI: STUFFED EGGPLANT (Turkey)
Roasted eggplant stuffed with onion, red bell pepper and herbs (VG, GF)
3rd Course
SAYADIEH (Lebanon)
Wild caught cod filet pan seared, served over basmati rice
4th Course
BAKLAVA (Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Morocco you name it)
